Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin is offering the community an opportunity to learn about a variety of important health topics in a series of recurring of Lunch n’ Learn sessions.
The next Lunch n’ Learn will take place at noon Aug. 6 with guest speaker Kenya McCant Owens, nutrition manager of the WIC Program for the Georgia Department of Public Health. She will speak about the importance of proper nutrition for senior citizens in a session titled, “Nutrition 101: Senior Edition.”
“These Lunch n’ Learn sessions are an opportunity for members of our community to come together over a nutritious meal and learn about a variety of health topics that are of importance to everyone,” said Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin Chief Operating Officer Thomas Goss. “We’re hoping you’ll gain valuable insights into your health and maybe make some new friends along the way.”
August’s session will be held at the Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin cafeteria, 821 North Cobb St., Milledgeville. All sessions are free and open to the public. Lunch will be provided.
