Eric Weber

Dr. Eric Weber

Dr. Eric Weber, a board-certified pediatrician, has joined Atrium Health Navicent as Program Director of Atrium Health Navicent's Pediatrics Residency. He will provide patient care and foster resident training at Atrium Health Navicent Children’s Care Downtown Macon, a facility of Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center.

Weber previously served as Continuity Practice Director for New Jersey's new Hackensack Meridian Health Pediatric Residency, where he successfully helped to spearhead a research initiative that resulted in the addition of $1 million to the New Jersey Medicaid Fiscal Year 2024 budget, devoted to expanding early relational health services in the primary care setting across the state.

Children’s Care Downtown Macon offers treatment of major, minor and chronic illnesses in children through annual well-child examinations, immunizations and hearing and vision screenings.

Weber has said his lifetime professional focus has been to empower pediatricians and health systems with the tools to maximize both the physical health and the overall success of future generations. He has done this through effective team leadership, policy and program development, strengthening residency training and practice management.

In 2021 and 2022, Weber traveled the world in an immersive, experiential study of culture, history and geopolitics while journeying across 40 countries. It led to the publication of an eBook, “Footprints in Seven Continents."
